We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who would like to gain experience in the marketing aspect of a digital magazine. The role will be to keep our social media up to date, support calls for submissions, promote existing content and to help grow our audience and online presence. Social media skills are essential, magazine and blogging experience is an advantage but not essential.
BLYNKT is a platform that shares stories and plant seeds of social change. Established in January 2016, BLYNKT has grown to become a well-known social and political platform among academics, writers, bloggers, and journalists in its four base-cities: Berlin, London, New York and Tokyo. It consists of a bi-annual magazine, a podcast, and website.
This internship will not be monetarily rewarded. We would like to make this a mutually beneficial relationship and would be happy to help you develop and gain new skills in areas of magazine publishing. This role would run from April 2017 to October 2017 to work on Issue 3 of the magazine from start to finish. We will provide a reference at the end. The role is part time, 4-6 hours a week and is based online.

From the Editors of BLYNKT
As you may know BLYNKT Issue #1 is open for submission, we are looking for in depth pieces of around 3,000-5,000 words each. More details can be found on the submissions page.
But, we are also now looking for shorter pieces of around 500 words for the BLYNKT website. We are looking for stories, opinions, news, anecdotes, photos, poetry and short fiction on the topic ‘Family’. If you would like to write for us and have an idea, please contact us! email@example.com
Please note that if we publish your piece on the BLYNKT website we cannot consider the same piece for the magazine, however, we would welcome an alternative submission.
